Our Icelandic Chickens and Guardian Dogs
Around here we raise Icelandic chickens—a tough old heritage breed that thrives in New England. They bless us with beautiful, tasty eggs and help keep the land in balance. Keeping watch over the coop and the hives are our two farm dogs, Boomer and Naja—gentle with us, all business with predators—and a big part of what keeps our little place humming.
